I know, I know, we say this every year, but, seriously, where did September go? Kudos to Mother Nature for being right on schedule this year. Temps in Chicago on September 21 were in the high 80s. The next day, September 22, the autumnal equinox, temps were in the low 70s. I’m not complaining, just an observation of her timing. Time to switch out my shorts for sweaters and flipflops for boots.
Fall is a great time to visit Chicago. The weather is (usually) nice, it’s less crowded than in summer, and there are plenty of things still to do.
